Great job guys. Take a standard blog format for an interesting site and completely screw it up - à la Wired.
À la Wired you ask? The magazine, not the website I answer. For a while there they were becoming so cool, hip, and downright edgy with their design that it became impossible to actually read the damn magazine. The font colour would clash horribly with the page colour and to add insult to injury it would be sized so that only those with 20-10 vision could make it out.
Their UK cousin, which was relaunched not long ago, is greatly afflicted with this nonsense to the point where I’ve thrown in the towel. I just thought that if they were making a magazine that was so badly designed it could only be read on a dare (a double-dog dare actually) then I’d do them the favour of not spending any of my disposable cash on it. I like to think of it as a slow-motion feedback loop.
